Jennifer’s Story
I’ve spent more than 30 years in healthcare, and I’ve been caring for people in one way or another for most of my adult life. But my own experience with perimenopause changed the way I looked at women’s health.
I knew something in my body was changing, but getting clear answers and appropriate care wasn’t nearly as simple as I thought it should be. I found myself frustrated by the lack of information, the conflicting guidance around hormone therapy, and the feeling that women were often expected to simply accept uncomfortable symptoms as part of getting older.
That experience stayed with me.
The more I learned, the more I realized how many women were going through the same thing — trying to manage careers, families, relationships, responsibilities, and everything else life asks of us while also dealing with changes in sleep, energy, mood, weight, hormones, and the way we feel in our own bodies.
I created Midlife Health & Wellness because I wanted women to have another option. I wanted to build the kind of practice where you have time to talk, where your concerns are taken seriously, and where care is based on you as an individual rather than a checklist of symptoms. I also wanted that care to actually fit into real life.
That’s why I offer telehealth throughout Arkansas, along with evening and weekend availability. For women who live in rural communities, have demanding careers, are caring for families, or simply don’t have hours to spend getting to and from an appointment, access matters.
My goal isn’t to tell you what you “should” do with your health. It’s to help you understand what may be happening, talk honestly about your options, and create a plan together that makes sense for you.
Midlife comes with change, but women shouldn't have to navigate those changes feeling dismissed, confused, or alone. You deserve to be heard. You deserve good information. And you deserve a provider who is in your corner.
Ready to talk?
If you’ve been feeling like something has changed and you’re ready to have a real conversation about what’s going on, the first step is a consultation call.
